Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I had a nice stay at Shambala despite a couple minor issues. The room was as described. It was tidy and comfortable and fitted my needs for my one night stay. The place had a powerful and warm shower along with a comfy bed although as mentioned by others you can feel the springs. This did not bother me. You can tell the owners have gone the extra mile to add small touches to the place to make it a great stay. There was complimentary drinks and chocolate which I thought was a nice addition.

Negative: The large TV was a welcome addition, however I found I could only watch roughly 10 minutes of an episode before the reception would drop out and close the program. I had to then open the app up again each time until I got frustrated and just used the wifi on my phone. This was a let down and perhaps something they can look into improving for other guests. There was also several mosquitos in the room, which looks to be a known problem because of all the windows had mesh screens installed.

Summary: Overall I was pleased with the choice of accomodation.
