Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Peaceful, beautiful river views and atmosphere. Remote but has everything we need. We loved the staff who were very friendly and helpful, especially the owner. We loved swimming in the river and listening to the rain from our veranda. The rooms were gorgeous and the grounds of the hotel were so beautiful.

Negative: I didn't check carefully and thought it would be possible to walk into Sidemen from the hotel but it's not possible as there are very steep hills. One restaurant is accessible by walking and there is a very small shop nearby but we got barked at a lot when we walked there. No grab delivery available. The hotel has some food easily available. Although difficult to access by foot it was easy to get to Sidemen and to have a driver for a tour around, the owner helped us to organise it and the prices were very reasonable. There weren't that many mosquitos! The floors outside were uneven and a little slippery but easy to manage with extra care.
