Summary: Chose this hotel as it was a 10 minute walk from the ferry to their door. In a great area of Bastia, just one block back from the central park that faces the waterfront and where the tourism office is located. An easy walk to the Vieux Port, Citadel, etc. Greeted by Katia (sp?) at the desk when we arrived at 8:30 a.m. expecting to just drop off our luggage but she said our room was ready and we could take it immediately! Great customer service, Katia was both helpful & thoughtful. We took a suite for three days: quite large with a couch, adjustable height table mini fridge & tv in one part. The bedroom had a wardrobe & another tv, bed and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy, great shower. The hotel is nicely done and our room was very quiet. Note: the hotel is one flight up from street level and there is no elevator. However, stairs are broad, there is a landing and a railing: for us that was fine. We found the suite was perfectly suited to our needs and met all expectations with one exception: would have appreciated hand towels (our fault for not asking) in addition to the bath towels - but the large towels were refreshed daily! Thanks to Katia, we will definitely revisit next time we come to Bastia!
