Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We had a private room downstairs and the room was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable and we were thankful for the blanket they included due to the cold weather we had during our stay. The shower in our room had hot water. The kitchen and living room had great views down the mountain which made for a great place to hang out in the evening to watch the sunset over the ocean. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and found us transportation to the cloud forest reserve last minute. We liked the location as well since it was close to the grocery store along the main road. There is not much traffic down the road the hostel is on and it stays quiet at night.

Negative: The kitchen was not well maintained and there was only one working stove to cook on. Every night we had several people trying to cook at the same time and it could get a little chaotic.

Summary: Quiet and convenient location with great views.
