We’ve got you covered for winter getaways too - a large heat pump keeps the cold away along with a rustic Kent fire and a shed full of firewood for cosy ambience.
A dishwasher, brand new microwave, and freestanding stainless steel island allow you to prepare culinary delights side-by-side, and “The Rocket”, Cabbage Tree’s commercial grade Giotto espresso machine, makes mornings worth getting up for.
The home’s era is represented by a clawfoot bath; not just a gorgeous piece of history but a huge plus for families with young children. A seperate shower resides next to the toilet in the spacious laundry area, complete with top-loader.
An office nook keeps work from play and an outdoor shower offers the ultimate convenience after leisurely beach strolls and refreshing ocean dips.

Right across from beach. Just down the street from bluebiyou restaurant and surf club. Charming new cafe up the street named gather , great coffee and fish n chips . Just 5 mins away from papamoa plaza and fashion island. Including supermarkets, countdown and pack n save and my favorite bin in for organic and refill your own jars etc.
Driving is best to get around. Uber is available to you if you have the app. Bikes are great around here too and of course lovely to walk!
RENTAL AGREEMENT
Dear valued guest,
We are thrilled that you have chosen our holiday home for your upcoming trip! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for you and your group, please take a moment to read through our rental agreement.
HOUSE RULES
1. No smoking anywhere inside or on property.
2. Please do not use any type of towel, including face cloths, to wipe off make-up, or use towels on skin that has artificial tanning products applied, as this can add extensive cost to the laundering process and often cause irreparable staining. From February 2024, we will be supplying cotton pads and make up remover to ensure that our linen stock is preserved. If towels or linen are heavily stained, replacement items will be charged to the guests like any other damage to property.
3. Absolutely no parties, events or large gatherings - no noise outside after 10 p.m.or before 7 a.m. We reserve the right to visit and inspect the property if we are alerted to higher numbers of people in the home than expected, loud music or unruly behaviour. Failure to observe this rule can cost guests an instant termination of their booking.
4. Guests must assume responsibility for sorting their refuse into the correct bins (landfill, recycling and glass). Guests who are in house on a Monday night agree to assist by putting the correct rubbish bins out on the kerb on a Monday evening or before 7 a.m. on the Tuesday morning. If guests do not attend to refuse requirements during and on departure from their stay, any labour and/or refuse fees incurred will be applied for through Airbnb.
6. If you have booked a pet friendly home, and have brought your pet, all pet-related clean up is your responsibility including pet hair from inside and dog poo from outside
7. If you used the BBQ please clean it well before you depart - it should be left ready for the next guests to use - thank you!
