Positive: We wanted to experience what it was like to stay in an old cabin in the woods away from the modern hustle and bustle and we certainly got that. We loved the balcony and its views over the ravine to the mountain peaks.

Negative: We felt that the shower could be made more attractive and more functional. The cabin appears to mainly be used by its owners maybe as a holiday or weekend home. Their belongings were everywhere and it really felt a bit too personal. One generally expects a holiday rental place to be a little less like that. That’s not bad but just a bit odd. A discrete sign at the end of the access track at the roadside would be helpful to help find the place.

Summary: Great experience but a few changes and investment could make it even better.
